The total number of broadband subscriptions in Finland at the moment amounts to 950,000 (850,000 in households and 100,000 in enterprises). Altogether 36% of households currently have a broadband subscription and 95% have the possibility to acquire a fixed network broadband service. There are 18.1 broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants.

The mobile phone penetration rate in Finland is 91%. Altogether 98.8% of the population have either a fixed or mobile phone. Only eight per cent own just a fixed line phone.
