Raisio, Finland's Leading Specialist in Plant-Based Products, to Receive a Grain Procurement System

Helsinki, 3 May, 2005 — Sentera Plc has made an agreement with Raisio Plc to deliver a grain procurement system. Raisio will use the system in all operations related to the procurement of domestic oil plants and grain. The system will be taken into production during summer 2006.

The system covers the entire grain procurement chain starting from the management of contracts signed with contract farmers and ending in payments to the grain suppliers once the grain has been received and analysed.

The traceability and safety of raw materials are ensured through large-scale contract farming.
